Contrary to what we want to believe, people on all sides are developing fears attributed to terrorist and racist acts. Since the shooting in Tuscon, Arizona Saturday where Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-Az) was shot in the head; Federal Judge John Roll killed, Christina Green 9 years old killed, along with others killed or wounded Congress has stepped back for another look concerning their safety. A vote was to be taken in the House Wednesday pertaining to the repeal of health care. Rep. Giffords had voted in favor of it last year.
Since the shooting Congress has decided to hold the votes while deciding what avenues they can take to protect themselves.
What concerns me, is this telling radicals they have won? It is not financially feasible for the tax payers to furnish body guards to all lawmakers, governors, mayors etc. even if we could this would not stop extremists wanting to kill. We have seen this proven with suicide bombers and John F. Kennedy.
Let's hope all votes in Congress won't become secret ballots, because then the voters will have no sense of direction where their elected officials stand.
What Caused The Cancer?
The nucleus has been built for years. Right against left, Christian against Atheist, Black against White. Today the fingers are spreading like a malignant cancer across our Country. This could be largely due to the internet.
- Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) - issued alert to law enforcement, stating their lives are in danger during traffic stops if they pull over drivers with right wing bumer stickers. (http://www.AmericanRenaissance.com)
- SPLC's partner in slime - smeared family-values organizations as "hate groups" opposing gay marriage and the DADT policy
- Hispanics should replace "Old White Men." in position of power and Republican Senators opposing the immigration bill.
The list goes on and on. White supremacists, New Black Panthers promoting the killing of cracker Babies, Muslim Supremacists, 'teabaggingforjesus' saying - "It's nice to see the Tea Party making a difference in our democracy." (Comment made on http://dailybeast.com)
Since the shooting over 6,000 posts related to Giffords/Palin have been made in 24 hours. They state such comments as this;
- Comment by someone called 'a.c' - "The Tuscon Tea Party will be made to pay for the blood on their hands. An eye for an eye. You want Civil War you got it. Kill Jesse Kelly for his role, then kill Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glen Beck. Whoever puts bullets in their heads shall be a national hero."
- Jane Fonda blames Sara, Glenn and the Tea Parties for the shooting. read more hate
Of course the right will retaliate causing the cancer to spread. Could this be what Obama needed to promote shutting down the internet or media in the name of human safety?
The Socialist goal is to shut down Capitalism. Let's hope this does not happen but if it does we could see a blood bath across the Country. The right due to self preservation will fight back.
The agenda of the left has become a battle cry to fight what the right is doing. We are sitting on the edge of a Civil Revolt which stems from both sides feeling they are right. Do we now deal with the simplicity of both parties coming together for the sake of future generations or the demise of what our Country was built upon.
Let's hope for unity and not a Civil Revolt.
America is a great Nation. In order to remain great we must learn to work together. It is time for our leaders to listen to the voters. At RFA we believe this begins at the White House.
